Executive, Electronic Shipping Solutions Field Support - Macau

YOUR TASKS

Working Location: Macau

Reporting to Head of Macau, you will be responsible for driving the utilization rate and data quality of Electronic Shipping Solutions (ESS) tools, also coordinating and handling IT related matters as well in DHL Macau:

REQ12417 Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis

POSITION SUMMARY:

Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis focuses on supporting the management in execution of analysis and reporting related to gaming marketing events and promotions. The position will also work closely with various business units in terms of communicating and reviewing findings with senior management.

Will lead the team of Managers, Senior Analysts and Financial Analysts to evaluate gaming marketing events, to prepare marketing cost and expense analysis, gaming player reinvestment studies, and other general business analyses

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct in-depth post event analysis of gaming marketing events and promotions

  • Interpret data, analyse results against proforma in on-going promotion and identify key findings

  • Provide marketing expense and player reinvestment analysis on timely manner as requested

  • Prepare and deliver insightful reports to senior management, providing constructive insights and recommendations

  • Lead and develop a team of analysts to include day to day operations, coaching, mentoring and appropriate performance management

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Manager, Quality, Health & Safety undertakes all health and safety assessments and programs to ensure the operations of The House of Dancing Water show and Entertainment Departments are safe. Work closely with technical occupational safety and health representatives and provide guidance, support and investigation results and recommendations to all departments and the safety committee. Participate on the Risk Management, Health and Safety Committee and ensure learning, implementation and monitor such best practices are adapted to related areas. On-going document control, companywide processes and review of documentation produced by the teams to ensure SOP’s are maintained and followed.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor and maintain the requirements of the Safety Management systems including incident reporting, investigation and risk assessments.

  • Enforce policies to establish a culture of honesty and promotes health and safety.

  • Supervise incident response, root cause analysis and implementation of remedial and corrective actions.

  • Identify, assess and implement improvement projects to eliminate hazards and risks.

  • Identify HS training requirements, provide and manage the delivery HS training.

  • Train senior management in health and safety leadership.

  • Oversee Document Control, numbering, filing, sorting and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by the teams to ensure SOP’s are maintained.

  • Lead a review of company wide processes by developing a complete and thorough flow chart and process documentation system.

Collaborate with various business units, such as providing casino marketing effective marketing strategies that align with the company's goals.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive revenue and profits for the company by developing and implementing data-driven revenue optimization strategies in gaming and non-gaming sectors.

  • Analyse current market trends, demand patterns, and the competitive landscape to identify lucrative revenue opportunities.

  • Utilize data science and data mining techniques to develop models and predictive analysis to extract valuable insights, forecast revenue, and make well-informed decision in gaming, casino marketing and non-gaming field.

  • Prepare and deliver insightful reports to senior management, providing constructive gaming and non-gaming optimization insights, strategies, and recommendations.

  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to align revenue strategies with promotional activities and demand-driving tactics.

  • Establish and maintain effective reporting mechanisms that track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify operational trends, issues, and opportunities in both gaming and non-gaming units.

  • Stay updated on industry best practices, market trends, and emerging technologies to proactively identify revenue growth opportunities and drive operational improvements.

  • Manage medium to large scope projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

  • Successful candidates must have six years and above relevant work experience

  • Candidates must have a proven track record in highly numerate and analytical roles

  • Preference is given to candidates with gaming or hospitality experience

Education

  • Candidates must hold a degree from a major, accredited institution in the fields of computer science, hospitality, gaming, statistics, marketing, finance, engineering, business administration or mathematics.

  • Preference is given to candidates with a post graduate degree from a major, accredited institution

Skills / Competencies

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with solid understanding of optimization analytics

  • Strong presentation skills and be comfortable interacting with senior management

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams

  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin in both speaking and writing

  • Excellence in software skills and tools in Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellence in technical programming skills such as Python, SAS, Visual Basic or SQL

  • Strong project management skills

  • Strong coaching, leadership and team management skills

  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and interpretation

JOB PURPOSE

The Client Advisor builds relationships with Burberry’s new and existing clients, delivering a personalised and elevated experience with commercial success.

Reporting to the store management, the Client advisor will inspire our clients by conveying passion for the brand, fashion and luxury products.

As an expert in client engagement and service, the client advisor demonstrates a high level of knowledge in styling and selling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SERVICE AND SALES

  • Meet and exceed individual and store sales and other commercial KPIs

  • Through storytelling and passion for the brand, inspire our clients creating desire and love for Burberry with every client interaction

  • Provide a luxury service and demonstrate knowledge and expertise in product, fashion and styling

  • Follow the Client journey to elevate the Client experience in the store: Ensure a great initial impression; discover your client, be a product and styling expert and close the sale to maintain the relationship with the client.

  • Be efficient in following-up and delivering after-sales services to our clients

  • Contribute to the daily operations of the store, by maintaining high luxury standards in both front and back of house, including appropriate level of product and replenishment, support with inventory management, markdowns and stockroom maintenance when required

  • Follow company policies, guidelines, and procedures. Use visual techniques to maintain visual standards according to Burberry guidelines

  • Foster team work and a positive work climate

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT

  • Build meaningful relationships with Clients

  • Work by appointment to provide a personalised service and build relationships with our clients to promote loyalty and incremental purchases.

  • Capture new luxury clients to grow the individual and store client book with a commercial objective mindset

  • Drive retention of clients ensuring volume and spend by contacting them regularly and ensuring the appropriate follow up on sales or clients requests

PERSONAL PROFILE

  • A proven track record in delivering sales and exceeding targets

  • Previous experience in Clientelling

  • A strong interest in fashion, art and culture

  • Strong product knowledge and good understanding of store retail operations

  • Understanding of competitor products

  • Experience in working as part of a team

  • Fluent in local language; English proficiency is desirable
